The River Church accepts the Holy Scriptures as the revealed will of God, all-sufficient rule for faith and practice; and for purposes of maintaining spiritual unity and adopts the following statements of fundamental truths:

A. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

​

B. We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons; Father (Abba), Son(Jesus Christ), Holy Spirit.

​

C. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

D. We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. (Being Born Again)

​

F. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.

​

G. We believe in sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian in enabled to live a holy life.

​

H. We believe in the resurrection of both saved and lost; they that are saved unto resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto resurrection of damnation.

​

I. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

​

J. We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again at the end of the Church age, for His bride (church or Body of Christ)

K. We believe that God created and ordained MAN and WOMEN to be married. And any other union is not excepted according to the WORD of GOD.

L. All couples (male and female) must attend a minimum amount of classes for preparation. Amount of classes will be determined by the Pastor.

​

M. All volunteers and leaders at The River Church must fill out and comply to the bylaws written in accordance to the WORD of GOD. The River Church has the right to call into question any volunteer and/or leader. Step one reconcile/repent of the sin. Step two turn from that sin, and seek counseling.
